What we do
We work primarily across provider trust and commissioning organisations. We have also worked for the Department of Health, Strategic Health Authoritities, Home Office and the independent and third sector.
Our expertise spans 3 main areas:
Intelligence services
We support organisations to maximise the use of their resources by helping them take intelligence-led and clinically appropriate decisions. We also support them through strategic planning and implementation based on this intelligence. This work includes:-
• Analytical modeling tools
• VFM evaluations
• Strategic planning
• Performance improvement support and implementation
• Workforce planning, and
• Service strategies for GP Consortia and local authorities.
The recent addition of the core mental health team from the Audit Commission further strengthens our offering in the above areas.
Patient Safety and Quality services
We have built a national reputation in efficiently and successfully undertaking major patient safety reviews. Acknowledged as a leading organisation in this field we are on many nationally recognised frameworks and we work across not only mental health but also the acute and community sectors.

Health and social care are complex - our work therefore combines the above areas to provide a complete solution to our clients.
We have also developed a series of practical analytical tools to help tackle the issues faced by the service today. These approaches combine intelligent analysis of data with our clinical and service expertise. They currently cover the areas of:
• Capacity and scenario planning for service reconfigurations
• Memory assessment service development planning
• Acute care pathway redesign
• Estate cost reduction
• Sickness absence reduction
• QIPP delivery, and
• Workforce Planning.
