Mental Health Strategies are delighted to have our quality management systems accredited to ISO 9001:2000 standards.
The processes of external inspection and regulation are part of daily life for many of our clients; the world outside an organisation increasingly expects proper evidence as to the quality of its work. We welcome this increasing openness to scrutiny, and want to adopt the same principles in our own work. Mental Health Strategies have therefore been working towards accreditation of our quality management systems under ISO 9001:2000, and we recently underwent our first inspection. We were very pleased to pass at the first attempt.
The process involved a thorough review of all aspects of the way we work, from document management to customer communication, and from human resources to product design. The ISOQAR auditor described it as “a very satisfying audit”, noting that “it is clear that the process areas have in place and under control for a considerable time. A strong level of commitment at all levels throughout the company was in evidence – with plans in place for future improvement.”
