Mental health has often been described as a small village where everyone knows each other's business – so to keep our reputation intact means continually focusing on quality and ensuring we have satisfied clients.

Below are some comments we have received from our clients about our work:

"We have been very pleased with the support we have had from Mental Health Strategies. They have brought us a first class diagnostic insight into opportunities to improve our mental health commissioning, backed by strong implementation where we have required it. I have been particularly impressed by the rapid way in which they have built confidence within the local health community to support the agenda. ."
Angus Maitland, Director of Strategy & Market Management – Derby City PCT

"Thank you very much for your commitment and contribution to the 'Your Wellbeing in Mind' project. This project has at times been challenging and was very complex from the outset, but you have remained focussed on the objective and the outcomes. You have been a 'constant' along the way, guiding, supporting and at times directing us when we felt consumed by the task. Without your guidance and the help this project would not have been completed."
Aarti Joshi, Head of Joint Mental Health & Substance Misuse Commissioning – Richmond & Twickenham PCT

"The PCT has built a very good relationship with Mental Health Strategies and all projects commissioned so far. We hope to build further on this relationship."
Aarti Joshi, Head of Joint Mental Health & Substance Misuse Commissioning – Richmond & Twickenham PCT

"Very timely and positive service as always. Had a clear understanding of the issues and the brief."

Julie Todd, Project Manager – Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust

"I certainly benefitted more from our meeting on Friday as I gained lots of insights on how to make my work more strategic. As CDWs we sometimes get engrossed in day to day operational/tactical matters and miss out on fundamental issues that drive the issues we seek to address."
Belonwu Ezenwa, Community Development Worker – City & Hackney PCT

"MHS's expertise in healthcare issues, capital planning and their value for money was excellent. I found that MHS were extremely good at listening to the local context and applying their knowledge and experience to the questions under consideration. I would highly recommend them for future work."
A senior manager's written feedback comments – Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Trust

"Tony Ingham responded to our enquiry quicky and efficiently, providing us with the information we needed within a week. He went out of his way to help us despite the short timescales. His extra effort was much appreciated."
Julie Cullen, Programme Director – NHS North West Commission on Mental Health Services

"I worked with MHS over a period of months and found them incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Always cheerful even when I was changing details on an almost daily basis. I would strongly recommend them and will certainly be using them again."
Amanda Hawkins, Assistant Programme Manager for Health & Social Care in Criminal Justice

"I am writing on behalf of Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to thank you for the interesting and informative presentation you gave to the Board of Directors. Your continuing contribution to Equality & Diversity is very much appreciated."
Phil Robertson, Director of Nursing – Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

"I have been very impressed with the outstanding work MHS has done for me over the years. Their knowledge of mental health services, professionalism and willingness to go that extra mile is outstanding."
Sandy Taylor, Chief Executive – Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust

"We found MHS easy to work with. They have been very responsive to our needs and have provided many useful links and resources which have enabled us to improved our service. High recommended and a pleasure to work with."
Tanya Burnard, Head of Healthcare, HMP Canterbury

"The depth, scope and content of the report was exactly as I had originally conceived it in my mind's eye report, and for that I am very grateful. There is a feast of highly useful information and issues in the report, which we will be taking forward as a priority in the next few weeks."
Andrew Northall, Mental Heath Services Commissioner

"I wanted to write to express my gratitude for the excellent work you have done this year on self-assessment and financial mapping. I was delighted to see some of the progress that has been made. Your work and experience has allowed us to build a picture of progress which would otherwise have been unavailable."
Professor Anthony Sheehan, previously Director of Care Services – Department of Health

"Very pleased with every aspect of this project."
Jenny McAleese, Chief Executive – The Retreat, York

"Personally I have found MHS staff to be highly professional and very responsive to the changing needs of the project. This has been a positive working experience for me."
Joanna Finnegan, Business Manager – Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust

"Based on feedback through evaluation forms, mental health finance is important to members. MHS knowledge base, flexibility in dialogue went down well with members, who put the question 'where does the money go', James Fitton answered the question specifically and in detail."
Joy Chambers, Area Network Co-ordinator – CPPIH

""Noting the suicide statistics for young men in Pendle was one of the highest in the country, East Lancashire PCT received funding from Pendle Borough Council for a 3 month project around Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness with a particular focus on males aged below 45 years. We asked Mental Health Strategies to run the Suicide Prevention project which included a publicity campaign and training for a range of employers and services in the Pendle area. The mental health awareness / wellbeing leaflets were easy to read, interesting and provided much valued information. Postcards and posters also provided useful contact information for anyone suffering from mental health problems. We had 80 people attend the 4 training sessions carried out over 2 days. The feedback from the training was first-rate with the only negative comments suggesting that they would like to learn more. Since this intitial project in Pendle we have commissioned Mental Health Strategies to provide training in Burnley and they are also carrying out similar work in Accrington." "
Kirsty Lyon, Mental Health Development Worker – East Lancashire PCT
