We believe that combining healthcare planning expertise with our proven track record in model of care analysis and strategic and capacity planning has created a very strong business case offering, which places us at the leading edge of the market.
Market feedback has shown that added value in healthcare planning is derived primarily from having an in depth understanding of the clinical issues. As such we have an advantage over our healthcare planning competitors in terms of our mental health expertise. We work with both Trusts and consortia on capital projects.
In addition to our clinical knowledge we have an in depth knowledge of the relevant Health Building Notes and Health Technical Memoranda as well as a good understanding of the requirements for sustainability, master planning and quality. We have been involved in the development of best practice and design protocols and one of our planners is a member of the NHS Design Review Panel.
Our capital planning team has many years' experience of working on PFI, P21, LIFT and Design and Build Schemes, in both in patient and community settings, ranging in value from £8m to £73m and across all mental health service specialties.
Details of our most recent projects can be viewed in case studies.
We can offer a wide-range of services to the NHS as Trust Advisors and to consortia as members of design teams. The areas we offer include:
• Support to the NHS in preparation for PFI, P21 and LIFT schemes
• Support in creating a modernised model of care
• Capacity planning
• Support in creating operational policies for the new design
• Output based service specifications for the new design
• Strategic Business case production and support
• Schedules of Accommodation
• Review of plans at all stages
