Tom McCarthy

Tom has a BSc in Economics and a Masters in Health Economics from the University of York.
Tom began his career as a Health Economist at both regional and district levels in the mid 1980s. He was heavily involved in developing quality of life indicators at both an academical and practical level.
He then helped form McClean Jones McCarthy Ltd, and subsequently Niche Health and Social Care Consulting Ltd, the umbrella company of Mental Health Strategies. Tom guides the development of the consultancy and specifically leads on financial and service development assignments. He also project manages many of MHS' major assignment and our interface with the DH and the private sector.
Tom's passion, apart from Manchester United, are his three young girls that bring him back down to earth after work.
