Ralph Tingle

Ralph began his career, after leaving university, as an accountant in local government working in both Yorkshire and Lancashire on Education, Social Services and Housing. He joined the NHS in 1986 and has worked in Shropshire, Norfolk and Derbyshire in the Acute, Community, Mental Health and Learning Disability sectors.
Ralph joined Mental Health Strategies (MHS) in 2007 after several years as an Executive Director of Finance and also having had portfolios covering information management an technology, estates and health records.
Since joining MHS he has worked on the annual financial mapping process for reporting investment on adult and older adult services, reviewing finance and activity information required by commissioners,reviewing baseline investment by Commissioners in mental health and in specific services such as A&E Liaison and Rehabilitation, benchmarking investment in prison health services, reviewing the financial input to a tender for prison health services,evaluating the affordability of a workforce plan, preparing and reviewing business cases as well as appraising the future provision of Learning Disability services.
Outside work Ralph is an independent member of Lichfield District Council's Audit Committee, is a trustee and Honorary Treasurer of the Parkinson's Disease Society, is a School Governor including Chair of the Governor's Finance Committee.
