Peter Haworth

Peter, a mental health nurse by background, has a wide range of clinical and managerial experience spanning 16 years. During that time he has developed and managed mental health services within both the private sector and NHS arenas, and is greatly experienced in clinical and operational management.
Over recent years he has worked in offender health managing health and mental health services in prisons. He has had a great deal of interest in developing and managing integrated healthcare in custodial settings and in the commissioning process, as well as facilitating other commissioning and service improvement events in the North West.
A graduate in mental health and addiction, he has worked clinically and managerially within the field of substance misuse and within a range of treatment models. Recently he has used this experience working in the role of Prison Mental Health Development Worker within the NIMHE North West Development Centre.
To relax Peter enjoys spending time with his young family and playing golf.
