Julie Mak
BTEC OND Graphic Design, PDQ Web Design
Julie joined Mental Health Strategies in 2006 as a Graphic/Web Designer. Her work involves helping mental health organisations improve their websites, printed materials and corporate publications. Her recent work has included the substantial recent rebranding of the company's (Niche and Mental Health Strategies) logos, websites and printed materials.
She has ten years' previous experience as a Graphic Designer, four of these years working for the academic sector at Manchester College of Arts and Technology’s ‘New Technology Institute’. For the other six years before that she worked for Greater Manchester News Group, World’s Fair Ltd and a signwriting company.
Julie is currently in her second year of a Certified Internet Web (CIW) Professional Qualification in Website Design Management. She also has a BTEC National in Visual Communications (Graphic Design) and has taken multiple web design courses including a PDQ in Web Design.
Outside of work Julie enjoys watching live bands, as well as being a passionate Chelsea fan.
