Dan Burningham
MA (Oxon), MBA, SRAT, HCP
Dan is the Director of Capital Planning at MHS. He has extensive experience of mental health capital and business case development projects on consortium and Trust sides. Dan is from a clinical mental health background and he managed therapy services in mental health settings in the NHS for over 10 years. Dan has strong facilitation skills within the complex mental health stakeholder environment and is experienced at forming effective communication links between clinicians and design teams.
Dan leads on all our major Capital Projects and our supply chain relationships with Kier, Interserve and Laing O'Rourke. He is an expert in the whole business case process and the PFI, P21 delivery routes associated with it.
Dan is State Registered with the health professions council as an arts therapist and is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. He has an MBA from Henley Management college and an MA from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
In his spare time Dan enjoys playing jazz trumpet and helping run a Saturday football club, which both his children play in.
