Alex Bunn
BA (Hons) Criminology and Sociology
Alex has been with Mental Health Strategies (MHS) since January 2008. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology, for which he studied at Lancaster University for three years and received a 2:1. Alex is involved in supporting many of the projects providing analysis as well as providing internal support within the information technology framework of the organisation.

Research and analysis of evidence:
• reviews of literature, evidence and best practice
• review of Policy Protocol and Best Practice
Information analysts of:
• populations
• levels of mental health service provision
• investment in mental health services
• the prevalence of mental health problems
• creating thematic maps to give a visual representation of information relating to specific geographical areas
The annual national Service Mapping exercise:
• providing help and advice to end users
• providing input into improving the data collection process
• contributing to the validation of data

Outside of work Alex enjoys running, going to the cinema and spending time with his girlfriend. Having relocated to the North West from Cambridge in 2006, he also relishes the opportunity to see Norwich City Football Club play at local venues with home games now being so distant.
