MHS win Investors in People status
Following an assessment in June 2008, Mental Health Strategies were delighted to be awarded “Investor in People” status. Added to our gaining ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in 2007, this demonstrates both our intent and our success in developing a high-quality and high-performing organisation.
The “Investor in People” award was achieved at the first attempt, and the assessor
identified numerous strengths within our organisation, including:
• a clear planning process, with many opportunities for staff to be involved
• encouragement and support for staff to seek out learning opportunities
• regular structures of appraisal and personal development planning
• opportunities to apply learning and development to improve performance
We will of course be working to maintain and build on both of our external accreditations, and we have an active programme of quality assurance to ensure just that. We hope to continue to offer our clients the high quality service which they have come to expect from us.
