Evaluation of the standard contract for mental health and learning disability services

In the early Summer if 2009, MHS were asked by the Department of Health to carry out a rapid assessment of views and experiences of the interim standard contract for mental health and learning disability services. This involved an intense series of interviews and visits to sites across England, and it provided a fascinating insight into the approaches being taken to implementing the contract, and to both local and common issues arising.
